About K8s.Guru

K8s.Guru is an independent Kubernetes practice for small and mid-size product teams — companies that already run (or must run) containers in production, but do not have a full platform/SRE org.

We sell outcomes, not hours of “advice”: audits you can act on, launches you can operate, and ongoing support with a clear SLA.

Who we work with

  • Startups and SMB product companies on EKS, GKE, AKS, or self-managed clusters
  • Teams where one engineer “owns” Kubernetes on the side of feature work
  • Founders and CTOs who need cost control, reliability, or a safe path off Heroku/VPS/docker-compose

We are not a staffing agency and not an enterprise transformation program. Engagements stay scoped and priced up front.

How we work (without the theater)

  1. Scope first — fixed packages with deliverables and price floors, not open-ended retainers by default
  2. Access with least privilege — read-only where possible; changes agreed and reviewed
  3. Written outcomes — reports, runbooks, and handoff docs your team can keep
  4. Optional continuity — Managed Support only when you want an ongoing fractional platform team

People behind the practice stay off the public site by design. Trust comes from process, packages, and results — not from personal brands that create HR and poaching risk.

Documentation vs consulting

The docs and blog exist so engineers can self-serve. Consulting exists when the problem is ownership, risk, or bandwidth — not another tutorial.
